Viktor Dmitriev

Director General of Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Member of Council for development of pharmaceutical and medical industry under the Russian Federation Government.

Candidate of medical science, graduated from the Sechenov’s 1st Moscow Medical Institute.

Mr. Dmitriev was one of the originators of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in 2002 and was the Association Head until 2004. From 2004 to 2007 Mr. Dmitriev worked as Deputy Director of Roszdravnadzor Scientific Center for Evaluation of Medical Products Federal State Institution. In October 2007 by the decision of the Association general meeting Viktor Dmitriev was elected the ARPM Director General again.

Vitali Proutski

Vitali Proutski has over 18 years of professional experience in molecular and cell biology, research informatics and biostatistics. Until recently, he has been responsible for all operational activities of the Bioinformatics & Biostatistics Department of Almac Diagnostics (BU of Almac Group Ltd), a biomarker discovery, diagnostic assay development and bioinformatics consultancy solutions provider. In this role, Vitali has established the data analysis consultancy capabilities and has been involved in a number of internationally sponsored biomarker discovery projects, as well as in developing and validating robust and clinically applicable biomarker assays. In addition to the operational responsibilities, Vitali, along with other members of the senior management team, has been defining and developing an overall commercial products and services strategy of the company.

Prior to joining Almac, Vitali spent several years working in the UK and the Netherlands for Organon, a pharmaceutical company. There he was first responsible for setting up the UK Bioinformatics team supporting projects in Target Discovery and Lead Optimization, and later for the application of “omics” and computational technologies to the identification and characterization of compound toxicity/safety issues in Selection Phase of Lead Optimization. Vitali has also worked for the UK Medical Research Council and Oxagen Ltd., a small UK biotech company.

Vitali graduated with a Medical Degree (Cum Laude) from the 1st Medical University, St. Petersburg, Russia, and also received DPhil Degree in Computational Biology from the University of Oxford, UK.

Gennady Shirshov

Executive Director of SPFO (Society of Professional Pharmaceutical Organizations)

Gennady Shirshov has been in the current position of Executive Director of SPFO (Society of Professional Pharmaceutical Organizations) since its establishment in April 2002. Bringing together companies representing the entire value chain in the pharmaceutical sector, SPFO is a unique platform for a proactive dialogue both within the sector and between business and the Government. SPFO enjoys excellent sector resources (legal and professional) and is a proactive partner of the Government in establishing quality based pharmaceutical sector and healthcare in Russia.

Mr. Shirshov is a member of (i) the Russian Government Council for the Development of the National Pharmaceutical Sector, and (ii) Expert/Advisory Councils in various federal-level agencies and ministries related to the pharmaceutical sector. He also leads a number of initiatives such as the National Anti-Counterfeiting Campaign.

Prior to SPFO, Mr. Shirshov worked for British American Tobacco (BAT Uzbekistan) as Logistics Manager and MRP II Project Manager (1994-2001), and United Nations Office in Uzbekistan.

Mr.Golant was born on March 12, 1978 in Leningrad.

Since October 2010 he is the deputy chairman of Committee for economic development, industrial policy and trade.

Igor Narkevich

Rector of St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical Academy

Born on October 29, 1966 in Vitebsk

Upon graduation with praise from military medical faculty under Tomsk Medical Institute in 1988 Mr. Narkevich served military obligation within forces of Belorussian military district. In 1990 he entered post-graduate military course of Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov (Leningrad). In 1993 he defended candidate’s thesis, in 2001 – doctor’s within the specialty of Technology of medicines and organisation of pharmaceutical business.

In 1993 Mr. Narkevich was appointed a lecturer at the department of military and medical provision of the Kirov’s Military and Medical Academy, in 1998 he was appointed a senior lecturer, in 2003 – department professor. In 1998 he was awarded the title of Assistant professor. From March 2004 to July 2009 Mr. Narkevich headed the department of military and medical provision of the Kirov’s Military and Medical Academy. Upon discharge from the RF Armed forces Mr. Narkevich worked as a pro-rector for quality management at St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical Academy. Since 2010 he is the head of medical and pharmaceutical commodity science at SPCFA. In February 2010 at the staff conference Mr. Narkevich was elected the academy rector.

Scientific activities of Mr.Narkevich are devoted to the solution of problems of forecasting the need for medicines and medical products under uncertain conditions, as well as the issues of multilevel provision systems management. He developed theoretic basics and methodology stocks formation, providing optimal level of provision of force structures needs under the conditions of everyday activities or operations.

Under the conditions of transfer of the domestic pharmaceutical industry to innovative scenario Mr. Narkevich takes an active part in the development and scientific grounding of social and economic mechanisms of stimulation of pharmaceutical enterprises development, organisation of highly technological sectoral clusters as a prospective direction of the industry development.

Igor Narkevich is a distinguished expert in the sphere of organisation of pharmaceutical aid in large medical and preventive institutions, organisation of provision of force structures with medical assets, medical and pharmaceutical commodity science. Mr. Narkevich  is the author of over 140 scientific works. Five candidate’s theses are defended under his supervision.

Igor Narkevich is awarded a medal of the Order of Service for the Fatherland, II degree, sectoral badge of Expert of Healthcare and others.

Nikolay Demidov

In 1998 Nikolay Demidov graduated from Plekhanov’s Russian Economic Academy, major in Finance and Credit. Upon graduation he joined a young promising team for the Russian pharmaceutical market research. Two years later the team was reorganized to Pharmexpert company.

In 2002 Mr. Demidov was appointed to the position of Head of Pharmexpert Research Department. In September 2003, he was appointed to the position of Pharmexpert executive director, and in 2006 Mr. Demidov became Director General of Pharmexpert company.

Since 1999 Mr. Demidov is a member of the Russian Association of Pharmaceutical Marketing. At present he is a member of RAPM Coordination Council.

Ruslan Zalivatsky

In 1999 graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation (specialty “Finance and credit”, specialization – “Tax investigations”).

Started his career in 1998 as an expert of the Legal Economic Expertise Department in the Federal Tax Police Service of the Russian Federation.

2001 – 2003 worked in the Expert Department of the Federal Tax Police Service of the Russian Federation over Moscow and Moscow Region.

In 2003 was appointed Deputy Head of the Legal Economic Expertise Department of the Moscow Region Central Internal Affairs Directorate.

В 1988 – 1989 годах проходил службу в Советской Армии.

В 1998 году получил степень MBA в Санкт-Петербургском международном институте менеджмента.

С 1994 года работает в компании «Ново Нордиск АС»: медицинский представитель московского представительства, региональный менеджер по Северо-Западному региону; с 1997 года – региональный директор по продажам в России.

В октябре 2001 года Сергей Смирнов возглавил Представительство компании «Ново Нордиск» в России и странах СНГ, координируя деятельность компании в 12 стран СНГ и Монголии. Сергей Смирнов стал самым молодым вице-президентом одной из крупнейших компании на фармрынке.

Кроме того, в течение двух лет Сергей являлся членом Совета Директоров «Ассоциации Международных Фармацевтических Организаций». В 2008 году избран председателем Комитета Ассоциации Европейского Бизнеса.

Сергей являлся единственным представителем от России в Международной рабочей группе IDF (Международной Диабетической Федерации) по принятию специальной резолюцию ООН по сахарному диабету.

Занимая столь важные должности, Сергей продолжает совершенствовать свои знания. В 2006 году получил степень кандидата социологических наук в Ростовском государственном педагогическом университете, а в 2008 году окончил Социально-правовой институт экономической безопасности по специальности «Юриспруденция».

Yuriy Krestinskiy was born on March 03, 1972 in Moscow. Education – legal. In 1992 he started his labor activity in the sphere of healthcare and pharmaceutics as the distributor company head. In 1993 Mr. Krestinskiy established Pharmatsevichesky Vestnik (Pharmaceutical Bulletin), an all-Russia weekly newspaper issued until present. Since the newspaper establishment it’s editorial board is headed by Mr. Krestinskiy. Within the period between 1993 and 2003 implementation of a series of projects in the publishing, advertising, staff and analytical spheres started basing on the newspaper edition. The projects were united within the framework of Bionica Group established under the leadership of Mr. Krestinskiy.

IPhEB Forum in 2012 is the key international level congress-exhibition event of pharmaceutical, biotechnological and medical sector in St. Petersburg, aimed at developing crucial decisions in the field of creation, production and introduction of innovative and strategically important medications into medical practice according to the major goal of the strategy for developing pharmaceutical industry.

IPhEB prize

Awarding ceremony of IPhEB prizes for special achievements of the year (Business project of the year, Product of the year, IPhEB Science)) will be held at the Forum for the first time aimed at strengthening motivation in terms of innovative developments. To become the nominee, to vote for the best project of the year and to track the basic stages of the Award, will be possible on an official site of the Forum.
